Fed leaves interest rates unchanged again

The Federal Reserve, as expected, left its target for short-term interest rates unchanged at 5.25% for a fourth straight meeting Tuesday [Dec 12th], citing a continuing risk of inflation, despite a “substantial” slowing in the housing market.
