The Danville/Boyle County Chamber of Commerce is offering seminars designed to help businesses get the most out of social media. Seminars are free and held from 3-5 p.m. at Inter-County Energy’s Community Room. They are led by Sean Moore of the Bluegrass Small Business Development Center.
In early February, a seminar was focused on Facebook. Here are the two remaining seminars:
February 27th – Twitter
Learn to build an account, as well as the language associated with twitter, and some of the 3rd party platforms that make managing your twitter account even easier. REQUIREMENT: bring your own laptop. Optional: flash drive with pictures/logos you may want to use.
March 26th – Google Plus
Newest social media platform, and fastest growing. Get in on the ground floor of what may end up being Facebook’s biggest competitor. Learn how to build a Google Plus page, and some unique features that make promoting your business easy. REQUIREMENT: Bring your own laptop.
Though they are free seminars, the Chamber asks that you RSVP at (859)236-2361 if you plan to attend.
