The Danville, Kentucky Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade will take place in downtown Danville on Friday, December 5. The tree lighting will be at 6:00 PM and the parade kicks off at 7:00 PM. In between the tree lighting and the parade, or afterwards, be sure to stop in at the Community Arts Center to see the “Home for the Holidays” exhibit.

The 39th Annual Marion County Country Ham Days is set for Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Major Sponsors include Spring View Hospital, TG Kentucky, Maker’s Mark and The Oak Barrel.
Events include an Arts and Crafts Show, a Market Place, an Antique Tractor and Engine Show, a Car and Truck Show, the Maker’s Mark Pokey Pig 5K Fun Run, Spring View Hospital PIGasus Parade, a Country Ham Breakfast, concerts and more.

This year’s Casey County Apple Festival will take place in Liberty, KY on September 20-27, 2008. There will be food, arts and crafts, and a flea market as well as events that amke the Festival the place to be next weekend.
There will be a Quilt Contest, several pageants, a 10 foot cookie, a 10 foot pizza and several other events. For more information, see the Casey County Apple Festival website, or call one of the folks listed on the contact page for specific attractions.
Just a reminder that the 2008 Constitution Square Festival starts Friday in Danville and runs from 9AM-9PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
