I know all of you are not car/truck people, but this is one of those things that makes you sit up and take notice, especially if your interest runs toward energy independence or green technology.

Just west of Bardstown, across the road from Jim Beam on KY-243 in Clermont is one of the crown jewels of the Bluegrass State.
Founded in 1929 by Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, Bernheim Forest encompasses 14,000 acres dedicated to an aboretum, forest and nature preserve. Bernheim Forest is the largest privately owned natural area in Kentucky.
