The Fort Harrod Beef Festival will be held June 5th – June 7th, 2009 at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Harrodsburg, KY. Last year was such a success, we’re doing it again! The Great American Brass Band Festival takes place in Danville, KY on June 11-14, 2009. Events include Bourbon and Brass, the Chautauqua Tea and Presentation, Great American Balloon Race, the Gallery Hop, the Great American Pancake Breakfast and the signature event, the Great American Picnic. Kentucky Bourbon Festival, Bardstown, KY
The Kentucky Bourbon Festival is held every year in Bardstown, the “Bourbon Capital of the World.” The Kentucky Bourbon Festival gives you a weekend full of smooth Bourbon, delicious food, and great entertainment, with a healthy dose of Kentucky hospitality thrown in for good measure.
The Constitution Square Arts Fest will take place at Constitution Square in Danville on September 18-20, 2009. It’s the 31st year for the popular festival, and what better way to celebrate than with a new name, expanded offerings and a stronger emphasis on the arts! The 35th Casey County Apple Festival will be held in downtown Liberty, Kentucky September 19-26, 2009.The festival features some 200 vendors displaying arts and crafts, food and flea market booths, plus various pageants. Keeneland Race Course, Lexington, KY Friday, October 9, 2008 marks the Opening Day of the Fall Meet at Keeneland. Keeneland’s 2008 fall race meeting opens Friday, October 9 and continues thru Saturday, October 31 with no racing on Mondays or Tuesdays. Several special racing events are on the fall schedule at this most beautiful thoroughbred racing venue.
